CommuniGate Notify

Welcome to CommuniGate Notify - the CommuniGate server module supporting the mail notification Internet protocol via TCP/IP networks.

Mail Notifications can be processed with the NotifyMail utility. In addition, the Notify module can establish connections via AppleTalk providing mail notification services for TCP/IP and AppleTalk-savvy utilities.

When a new message arrives to a user account, the User Settings are checked. If the NotifyMail service is enabled, the Notify module establishes a connection and sends a New Mail notification alert. The connection is established with the computer that has the network address explicitly specified in the User Settings.

The CommuniGate Notify module supports several simultaneous TCP/IP and AppleTalk connections.
